Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced professionals on a variety of projects spanning different scales and industries. This position offers hands-on experience in the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems within the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems for various projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and project teams to generate innovative solutions that align with client requirements and project goals.
• Conduct site visits and field surveys to gather data and assess existing mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software and tools.
• Support the project management team in coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic background with coursework in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering is a plus.
