Grey County Residence’s original design incorporated a courtyard inspired by Philip Johnson’s iconic Glass House, but multiple iterations were required. These redesigns allowed us to balance ambition with the client’s needs, finding efficiencies through technologies like insulated concrete forms, which enhance construction speed and boost energy efficiency.
